Legal Documentaries
These documentaries can be used in the closing statements for the defense or prosecution. For a defendant, it can show what a day-in-the-life is for that person. For a plaintiff a legal documentary can put their damages into tangible perspective by comparing and contrasting pre and post incidents. If an image can say it better, why put it in words?
Peace for the Streets By Kids from the Streets
Xolara has done documentaries on non-profit organizations to aid them in their fund raising goals. In our case it was a documentary on Peace for the Streets by Kids from the Streets, a unique organization that not only seeks to help homeless kids in need, but also to help them get off the streets altogether!
Company Foundations
Documentary films can show how your company foundation has helped the environment, or helped the elderly get the services they need. Whatever your foundation's goal, a documentary film can show the whole world exactly how you make a difference!
Social Motivation
Are you trying to get people out of their houses and to the polls on election day? How about motivating a community to take active roles in a community watch, a community garden, or a co-op? What about motivating politicians to enact stiffer penalties for car thiefs?
Learning to Burn
There have been several documentaries with the aim of educating the public to the dangers of dumping materials down water drainage systems, or to the benefits of recycling.
Fresh Ground
A relatively new phenomenon in the documentary world is the video commemoration of a retiring president or executive after a long and fruitful stay at a company. And an even newer occurrence are family documentaries that bring loved-ones to the screen in a truly memorable home movie that is sure to become a prized heirloom to future generations.
